We shared yesterday how we were extremely excited about the arrival of our new camera and tablet that should have arrived today. Unfortunately it did not arrive. We are a little disappointed since we wanted to start playing around with them, especially the camera. Well I guess there is always tomorrow!
For the rest of this post I thought we would do a Q and A with Mr. Travelers. I (Mrs. Travelers) have a lot of questions I want to ask him, especially what he is looking forward to the most. He and I have different tastes so I’m sure our answers will be quite different.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most?
A: Horror Nights and Transformers
Q: What addition to Harry Potter are you most excited for?
A: The dragon on the roof of Gringott’s Bank. It looks pretty sweet!
Q:What restaurant in CityWalk are you craving the most?
A: Margaritaville. It might not be new but it sure is tasty!
Q: Would you want to purchase an interactive wand to be used in the park? and if so would you actually use it at the different locations around The Wizarding World?
A: If it’s cheap! (Mrs. Travelers doubts that it would be cheap!)
Q: If you could bring back any of the rides that have been closed down, which would it be and why?
A: King Kong, I mean seriously he’s just cool!
So that officially ends the first chapter of Q and A with Mr. Travelers. Hopefully you found it enjoyable and will want to check back in as we get closer to vacation. I’m sure many of his answers could change. For all we know there could even be more announcements from Universal to come!
Feel free to leave comments below about what your favorite things are at Universal Studios!

Today has been a strange day but filled with lots of anticipation. We are awaiting our new camera and tablet to be delivered so of course we can’t wait to get them and start playing around with them. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow!
In the meantime we watched the 2nd video Universal Studios released regarding Halloween Horror Nights. The video gave a little more detail about Universal’s plan to showcase The Walking Dead in one of their houses. We think this could have been to settle the spirits of the Horror Night fanatics that are not really thrilled to once again be revisiting The Walking Dead.
We also watched a video of the London scene located in the new Diagon Alley. Universal has finally taken down the fencing blockade that had previously been used to separate the rest of the park from the construction site. This leads us to believe that soft openings are likely to follow.
So many things are happening at Universal Studios Orlando and daily we hear little snippets that have made the wait even better. We are certainly looking forward to hearing more as our countdown continues.

With our countdown just beginning we were really excited to learn that Universal Studios made an announcement today. They will be continuing on with the Walking Dead theme for their Halloween Horror Nights this year. We found this somewhat exciting and disappointing all at that same time. On our last visit in 2012 one of the themes incorporated into Halloween Horror Nights was the Walking Dead, which also continued on in 2013 and once again will be revisited in 2014. Either Universal will do a fabulous job because they have been able to continue on with this same theme each year or they could get too complacent with the same theming and royally blow it. Regardless of how it turns out we can admit we’re hooked!
Other exciting news that we heard was that the fencing surrounding the new Diagon Alley area has been removed. It still isn’t actually open to the public as of yet but if you are in the park the London buildings are completely visible. This only leads us to believe that it will be opening shortly. We are sure all Harry Potter fans are psyched!
As we continue with our vacation countdown we will also share with you all the things we intend to do while there and hopefully we get to share all the things we did when we get back!

Today is the beginning of our vacation countdown! We officially have 139 days left till our October 25th vacation. We are pretty much obsessed with all things Universal Studios Orlando so of course that’s where we are going. We have chosen to go in October for many reasons. Those reasons include Halloween Horror Nights, the new Cabana Bay Beach Resort and of course the all new Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley. Our last visit was in October of 2012 so we are really excited and are anticipating so many changes.
We still have sometime before our vacation is upon us but during that time we will use it to keep you up to date with all the things involved in our travel plans. We know that we need new luggage so as we acquire things to bring with us we will share it all here.
