In preparation for Halloween, the happiest time of the year 🙂 , I had purchased a bunch of nail decals. This past weekend my mother was over and wanted me to paint her nails. I decided it was time to get going with the spooky decals. Now I must admit that the cleanup process is not easy when it comes to my mother’s hands. She has psoriasis on her hands that can get really bad. I try to not use a lot of nail polish remover so as not to aggravate the area more than it already is. So disregard all the dryness to the skin surrounding her nails. She can’t help it and if she could, she would!
Here is what I did to complete this look-
1.) I applied a base coat.
3.) I then applied 2 coats of white by Wet N’ Wild.
4.) I then cut out the decals. I tried to leave the least amount of excess around the image because it makes it easier to place the decal on the nail.
5.) I then place the image in water so the decal will slide off the paper backing. To do this I use tweezers and a lot of patience and caution.
6.) Once the decal is removed from it’s backing I place it on the nail in the position I want the nail to placed.
7.) I then use a top coat to seal on the decal.
That’s all it takes to create this fun and spooky Halloween look!
