I’ve got a bunch of empties to share with you! These products are kind of all over the place, mostly because I enjoy trying out new things. Plus I am really trying to use up all the stuff that I already have as all of it is beginning to take over my bathroom and bedroom. So here are the latest empties-
Wet N’ Wild Under the Sheets- This is a package of 25 makeup remover towelettes. I didn’t even know that Wet N’ Wild made anything like these so of course when I saw them I had to buy them. If I am recalling correctly I paid $2.99 for them at a local drugstore. I found that they worked well and did a decent job of removing makeup. I can’t really complain about how they worked especially when they were so inexpensive.
Suave Hairspray (8 hold)- This has to be my favorite hairspray! For some reason it works really well with my hair. Other hairsprays that I use leave my hair all matted. I don’t know why they all do that but but they do. This stuff works wonders on my hair and doesn’t leave it matted. I especially like to use it when I wear my hair curly or even wear a wet look.
Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask- Before using this I had never tried the Freeman brand. I wasn’t overly thrilled with how this worked but it wasn’t completely terrible either. It didn’t help at all with stopping my acne outbreaks but it worked really well at removing any built up dead skin. I must warn you though that it is a really intense exfoliator. It was so intense that I could only use it once per week otherwise it would leave my skin feeling too raw! It has a soft nice smell. I did manage to (clumsily) get it in my mouth and strangely enough it was a sweet taste more than likely from the sugar, although I do not recommend eating it!
Equate Blackhead Clearing Scrub- This is a Wal-Mart brand facial cleanser that is comparable to Clean and Clear. I used this usually once per day typically at night. It did a good job at keeping my acne at bay. Although it is really strong and would leave my face extremely dry. To offset the dryness I would just make sure I applied a moisturizer although at times my face did feel itchy. This is not my favorite facial cleanser but it atleast did help with breakouts.
Dove Dry Spray- I am a huge fan of Dove deodorants so when I received a coupon in my Wal-Mart Beauty Box for a free one I had to take advantage. I was so glad that I did. This stuff worked really well for me. I opted for the cucumber scent because there was only one other scent available at the Wal-Mart store I went to. Dove claims that it provides protection for up to 48 hours. It very well may have lasted the full 48 hours but I just didn’t feel comfortable going that long without reapplying. I will be repurchasing this as soon as I run out of the Dove deodorant I already have.
Suave Humectant Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner- I picked these up because I have really dry hair. It’s dry because of all the heat I use on it and all the stuff I put in it. I was hoping that using these would help to add some much needed moisture to my hair. It didn’t really add any moisture but I didn’t dislike it either. It was just ok but at least it was inexpensive!
Salon Selectives 3 Minute Hair Therapy- I bought this on a whim at my local Dollar Tree. I figured that for $1.00 it at least wouldn’t break the bank! Boy was I shocked when I used it and learned that this stuff works amazingly! After shampooing I applied a generous amount onto my hair and used a comb to make sure it was all worked in. After waiting the recommended 3 minutes I rinsed it out. While styling my hair I was so excited to learn that my hair was so soft and far less frizzy than it normally is. I’ve been using it atleast once a week since that first experience. I even went back to the Dollar Tree and bought 4 more!
Dove Go Fresh Body Wash- Even though I am a huge fan of Dove’s deodorants I have to admit that I am not that fond of their body washes. I find that they don’t lather up well, or maybe just not the way I would like it to. I did like the scent which was a very light citric smell but other than that I wasn’t overly impressed. I more than likely will not purchase the body washes from Dove in the future. I received this bottle in the last Wal-Mart Beauty Box.
Hollywood Beauty Vitamin E Oil- Since my hair is so dry I stopped by Sally Beauty and purchased this bottle of vitamin E oil. I was hoping that this would be able to add some much needed moisture to my hair. After washing my hair I would then mix a few small drops of the vitamin E oil into my conditioner and apply them to my hair together. I was surprised to learn that it did end up helping to make my hair feel soft and even appeared less frizzy. This bottle was not expensive, less than $3.00 so I would repurchase this again.
