Nail Art #27- Re-creation

This look is a re-creation of my very first nail art look. The original post can be found here. I changed up the background color from light purple to a light pink. I still think that the original came out much better than this attempt but I am overall pleased with them both. Here’s how I did it.

1.)I started out applying a base coat by Sally Hansen, Hard As Nails.

2.) I then applied 2 coats of a pink color by L.A. Colors. ( I don’t know the name of the color because it came in a set I purchased around Christmas.)

3.) Once that was almost completely dry I applied a speed dry top coat by Nutra Nail.

Now for the detailing!

4.) After waiting for everything to dry I started to apply different colored lines starting at the base of my nail. I started with a black by The Color Workshop.

5.) I gave that some drying time and then applied a white also by The Color Workshop

6.) I then used Kiss Nail Art polish in Beach Pink to continue filling in the space.

7.) After time to dry I continued with Kiss Nail Art in Soft Purple.

8.) Again I gave it some drying time and began using Kiss Nail Art in Soft Blue.

9.) I then gave it a little extra time to dry and applied Sinful Colors Nail Art in Love Me. It’s got a lot of sparkle and worked great to tie everything together.

20150317_20314210.) Since the Love Me polish by Sinful Colors went on a little thick I gave it extra time to dry. Once that was all set I applied another coat of speed dry top coat by Nutra Nail.

And then of course the finished product.

I wasn’t completely satisfied with how it turned out but overall I liked it a lot.
