I have really been enjoying using the Sally Hansen nail polish strips. I find them quite easy to use and at least I know I won’t smudge them!
The particular one I used this time around is called Girl Flower and reminds me of the hippy days! It’s also a nice floral piece for the springtime.
Here is how I completed the look-
1.) I used nail polish remover on my nails to remove any built up oils.
2.) I then sized out which strip I would use on each nail. (I find it easier to do it this way then sizing them as I go.) This left me with 6 extra stips.
3.) I then went nail by nail and applied each strip. I use the included buffer to flatten out the strips and get rid of any wrinkles or creases. This part does take some patience but I have found that it gets easier as you go along.
4.) I then remove any excess portion of the nail polish strips by using the included nail file. Sometimes it’s easier to pull off the excess rather than use the nail file but I must warn you to be careful. Too much pulling will cause the strip to rip where you don’t want it to.
5.) Once that is all done I then apply a top coat by Nutra Nail.
Here is the finished look-
