Vacation Countdown~ 94 days left!!

Harry Potter- the saga
Harry Potter- the saga

94 days to go and we just finished up Year 1: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Year 2: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. We both really enjoyed the movies. Watching them really made sense of the whole set of of Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure and really leaves us excited for our visit to the newly opened Diagon Alley located in Universal Studios. When we visited the first time it was vaguely familiar to Mrs. Travelers, but back then Mr. Travelers was completely foreign to the whole world that is Harry Potter.

We truly enjoyed the whole experience of walking through Hogsmeade and getting to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The ride itself is probably one of the top rides we’ve ever been on. We’ve heard some people describe it as being too intense. We found it enjoyable but we also enjoy fairly intense rides so maybe we are bias.

Here are some pics from our last visit from Hogsmeade.

We are really excited to see all the newest additions to Hogsmeade. Since Universal was opening Diagon Alley they ended up sprucing up Hogsmeade and adding additional things including Hogsmeade Station which is home to the Hogwart’s Express, a train ride that moves guests to Universal Studios and has them exit through King’s Cross Station.

On our last visit we didn’t get the opportunity to eat in Hogsmeade so this trip we have breakfast reserved at the Three Broomsticks restaurant. We are really looking forward to our breakfast and checking out the restaurant.

Let us know about your experiences at Hogsmeade or even Diagon Alley.
